Aaahhhh. For the last 2 months either I haven't been able to connect to AOL or it's chucked me off after between 2 - 20 mins making MN'ing (and all other surfing) virtually impossible (and unbelievably FRUSTRATING).

So, which ISP (broadband) do you have and are they any good?

another happy with AOL customer. Even though Hub is trying to convert me.... away from my PC... my isp provider.... into having him as my personal photographer (that one worked hooked line and sinker!)

Hub:mwah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You svelte thang you!

Oh Mars, get a Mac, join Andrews and Arnold and I might take a picture of you looking as svelte as me.

I was quite happy with them (I do hate the adverts they download as soon as you log on tho') until I had all these connection probs at Easter. If you can't actually get on the net it's like paying for a car and then not being able to drive it!! I hadn't realised how important the internet had become until I was being denied access!!! And if I was online, I'd be in the middle of something important and it would boot me off ThenI'd ring the help people who have been no help whatsoever and are impossible to communicate with clearly (due to language prolems - call centre in Mumbai)[purple rage emoticon - there s/b one!!!] Defo time to switch.

Call their technical support line, it seems to be in Ireland. When I first went to Broadband after years on dial-up, I had a few problems and threatened to cancel. I then got to speak to someone who sorted the problem in minutes. I couldn't connect recently and had to repair AOL Connectivity. Click Start, then Control Panel, then Add/Remove programs. Find AOL connectivity then click repair. It'll run through a load of stuff. Try to connect and that might be the problem solved.

I haven't had many problems with them, a few over the years but I'm too lazy to change to another ISP.
