Good luck, hope it works, let us know how it does/doesn't. I've always used autotrader and sold on the first or second viewer.

Beware of scams when trying to sell a car...

One is when someone offers to buy your car, unseen, for the full asking price and pay with a bankers draft to ship overseas. Always some excuse about why thae can't speak on the phone to you. You hand over your car in exchange for a bankers draft, which the bank may even cash for you in the first instance BUT a few days later it will turn out that the draft is a fake and you will owe your bank several thousand pounds or so and you will effectively have given your car away.

Another is when soemone rings up from Motorhelp, saying that they have a buyer waiting for you. You just have to pay £70-£90 "selling fees". Of course, there is no such buyer and you have just lost £70 - £90.

(I'm trying to sell my own car at the moment and both of these scams have been tried. When I told the Motorhelp guy I thought it was a scam, he did't argue, just put the phone down on me. Then tried to block my email with loads of spam.)

Hope this helps someone.
