my eldest son just had a fit

He's 25. He lives with my dad. He has had digestive problems that have not yet been diagnosed.

Dad called to tell me, and the ambulance is there. I am now waiting for a call back to find out what is going on. They are a 3 hour drive away.

Hold my. Hand?

Is there another hospital you could go to? They sound terrible, your poor son. Good luck at the gp's tomorrow.

I asked the paramedics to take him to a different hospital when he was admitted, because I have so little trust in them (my mum was in that hospital last year, treated awfully and then died within days of being discharged, then my uncle was in there and it turned out the psychiatrist who apparently assessed him had never met him, I could go on).

Ah well gp this morning I hope.
