Birthday presents for 7yr old Girl

Hi, DD1 is going to be 7 soon, obviously I know what she likes/dislikes, but I wondered if anyone had any suggestions as I never feel that I get it right. She's into the dreaded Bratz, but has three already and that's enough. She says she'd like some of the next series of Daisy Meadows fairy books (yuk). Other then that she's a typical girl, likes fairies, arty/craft stuff.

Dd is about to be six and I've bought her a flashing lights hula hoop and one of those things with a ring you put around your ankle and a ball at the other end which you (somehow?!!) skip over.

Other nice things I've seen around are candle-making kits, paint your own jewellery box, friendship bracelet making sets, hama beads, sticker/badge makers etc. HTH

my dd3 was 7 last month. she got a polly pocket car, sylvanians, daisy meadows fairy books (probably what she was most pleased with), Hello Kitty CD rom, other books, a jewellery box, assorted colouring/arty bits and Cluedo.

is any of that any help?
