What really pisses you off in a relationship? And what little things would make you happy?

Just been talking to my friend about her on off boyfriend and how he does things that drive her mad, and it got me thinking....

I hate it when they dont answer the phone. Drives me mad. I hate it when they dont answer texts, are late without calling to say so, when they dont remember important dates, and when they cancel on me. I am so impatient with stuff like that. I tend to think 'sod it' and mentally end the relationship in my mind (although not really iykwim) basically I sulk.

I love it when I get soppy text messages, sweet cards, seeing that they have made an effort for me, I like just a little bit of jealousy - enough to show they are bothered, I like to be smothered with affection and have my hand held in the street.

I have been told before that I am high maintence though!

This isnt about anyone in particular, just a general thing...

Pisses me off - faffs about while the dinner I've cooked is getting cold on the table, very ungrateful after the effort I've gone to. Suspect I'll be making the same complaint about my kids when they're bigger (and full up on sweets from somewhere else).

Makes me happy - sometimes notices I've not loaded the dishwasher before bed and does it.

I hate men - not responding to my conversation

flicking the remote control to check whether there is anything worth watching on tv . Err... yes, the film I was in the middle of watching when you came in.

I love any little acts of kindness really, any sharing in household chores, a good massage, anything that makes me laugh so much, I roll off my chair onto the floor.

pisses me off... expecting to be thanked for doing..the washing up/hoovering/cleaning/gardening etc etc

I would like someone to be generous to me, not in a flash way but just maybe buy me little things that i like such as chocolate milk or cheesecake just because they were thinking of me in the supermarket. (I would always buy x something in the market, last present was olives i dont like them and had to give them away as i couldnt stand lookign at them). I would really liked to be surprised at a special anniversary for a trip without telling me, just to bring the passport or whatever. That would be lovely. I like text messages when i wake up just saying good morning or night.

Things that piss me off are phleming in the bath during a shower, when my hair catches in it, well you know the rest. Unclean toilet when he should know how to clean. Being made to buy beer during the shop. I like the money being spent now on us and not beer and the bill being cheaper. Not tidying up, hours on the computer, not looking after us, the list goes on and on. Having less washing to do now and should have lower electricity bills as the computer isnt on all night. Football watching it every night.

Miss soccer am, not sure why, roast dinners and sex but can get that with someone else. I like being single and i think i will be richer when all the things are sorted. More responsable now.

Pisses me off - not being able to leave his pc/games console unless he has come to a save place/place he can safely log off - even if that takes an hour and if ds is screaming or something that I desperately need him for

love it when - he does something without being asked/is particularly considerate/that he gets up when ds wakes in the night now.

Not waiting for someone to come in stinking of booze, the lies and the cheating. Dont miss any of that. Miss trusting people allready and seeing bad in them becuase of what he done to me and the way he played mind tricks. Only now do i know about the mind tricks as they were so subtle.

Coming around to see ds turning over to the sports chanel and playing on the computer. Hello!!!
