i thought the idea of the coupons were to encourage you to buy the product therefoee wont work if you havent bought it.

misdee · 24/07/2006 22:32

if they are terscos coupnas u have to buy the product.

no - they used to take coupons regardless of whether you had bought the product (it didn't work on their 'own' coupons, but they always accepted them on ones from magazines, etc.

You are supposed to buy said product now, altho they normally take one or two as a goodwill gesture(sp??). Well, they did when I worked there and I finished last october so they could have changed their policy.

Unless of course it was specific tesco ones and thenyes, only said product allowed.

I wonder if different branches have different policies coz i'm sure my mum uses her coupons at Tesco.

Waitrose accepts coupons without buying the product.
