Sorry for you loss. Will have a look. Am saving newspapers as we're moving house, but am afraid it may already be wrapped round some crockery. Will get back to you if I find anything.

spidermama · 23/07/2006 20:29

What day was the 19th?

spidermama · 23/07/2006 21:24

Someone must have a paper in their recycle box. I tend to read the paper at work and leave it there.

ButtonMoon · 23/07/2006 21:26

The 19th was Wednesday (my birthday)

Oh Button. On your birthday.
How are you coping? Was it a surprise, or expected?

ButtonMoon · 23/07/2006 21:37

He had a very rare cancer, diagnosed in April this year. he had been in hospital for over three weeks. he should have come home on friday but his body had had enough. he had suffered enough.

Button, that's pretty sudden then. Did you see him much when he was in hospital?

I know you have quite a journey ahead of you because I've been watching my best friend go through this recently.

I'm really sorry. Is your mum still around? Do you have brothers and sisters?

justmummy · 23/07/2006 21:43

I have a copy of the Sun from Wednesday if you want. It does have the holiday token cut out from it but it's yours if you want it. Email me your address and i'll send it on to you.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 23/07/2006 21:44

I have the Sun here if you want it but not sure if that is the type of National you want

justmummy · 23/07/2006 21:45

Snap! Classy aren't we.

bubble99 · 23/07/2006 21:46

No newspaper, but I didn't want to pass this by without saying how sorry I am. XX

whoopsfallenoveragain · 23/07/2006 21:46

Dh has only bought because he has been getting the train!
I may be able to find a copy of the mail as I think my Gran gets it but it is a bit too late to call her now!

ButtonMoon · 23/07/2006 21:46

Yes we all went to the hospital lots but he was a shadow of the former man. I still have Mum and 2 sisters so we will get through it.

spidermama · 23/07/2006 21:52

All the best to you and your sisters and expecially your mum Button.

If you're anything like my friend, you might need some child free time in the coming weeks and months.

spidermama · 23/07/2006 21:52

Especially.

Ellbell · 23/07/2006 22:05

I have Wednesday's Guardian if you'd like it ButtonMoon. Just CAT me with your address and I'll send it to you. I'm moving at the end of this week, so if I get your CAT in the next day or two, I'll send it this week. If not, bear with me. I'll keep the paper safe, but might not be organised enough to send it for a few days. But I'm keeping it for you.

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to your dad and am thinking of you and your family.

yackertyyack · 23/07/2006 22:06
