New series of BROADCHURCH.!

My dh is mates with one of the actors and they start filming the second series in march and there Will be a third series also.

Ooh! I'd heard rumours a while back, but that's very exciting!

Although I'm not sure I could handle the suspense watching it 'live' - we caught it on DVD (I work in a library) so were able to watch the whole lot in two nights :o

Which actors are coming back?!

Great! I'm really curious to see how they'll do it- will the sleepy town of Broadchurch go all Midsomer Murders and become a hot bed of homicide?

Will try and find out? Might be tomorrow now, dh Will have to text his mate!

Fab but it has one hell of a good first series to live upto.

Also wondering if Broadchurch will become the one place you dont want to live if you value life.

Rumour was the second one wasn't necessarily about murder. I don't have inside information though

I know MN is a hotbed of lust for David Tennant, but I thought Olivia Coleman was excellent. Actually paid good money to download off iTunes (live overseas), she was well worth every penny. And for a comedy actress, too.

I watched it again recently. Really stood up to a second viewing, especially the last two episodes when you can see that DT knows who did it, you pick up the subtle clues earlier.

I had to rewind the scene where OC finds out about three times. It was amazing. Such incredible acting.

Totally agree re the last two episodes. I stupidly googled before I watched it all, so saw how DT was being gentle with OC. It was great acting from them both. I thought the writing really tightened up towards the end, too. At the beginning of the series I don't think it took itself seriously enough. But it deserved to.

Olivia Colman was excellent, and just as good in Tyrannosaur, not an easy film to watch! but well worthwhile.
