A few weeks ago I bid on 3 books on ebay. I won one straight away and paid up, realised I hadn't changed my postal and email addresses since moving house and did so then, no probs I thought. Didn't receive any emails about winning the other 2 auctions so haven't thought about them at all.

Realised today that I haven't yet received the book that I did win and pay for, so checked into my ebay account only to realise that I did infact win the other 2 auctions about 10 days ago, but I hadn't received any emails because non of my datails had been updated (I'm absolutely sure I DID update them, they had been changed on the paypay site). I have of course paid straight away and sent an email to the 2 people explaining what happened, appologised a few times, grovel grovel etc. gave my new postal and email addies just incase.

But, after sending the email I realised that I've received 2 messages from one of the sellers, the first one telling my to pay straight away, second one saying that if i don't pay within 24 hours i will be reported to ebay. I replied to say only just read the messages, sorry AGAIN! etc

Seller prob won't believe my 'excuse' what what more can i say? What should i do now? Can I cancel the payment?

oh dear....

all i can say is that if it were ME who you were buying from (which it isnt) id accept that we are all huuman and can make simple mistakes...

I mean whe you move there is SOOO much stuff to change no wonder you forgot your ebay!

You are only human after all!

Lets hope you seller thinks like i do.... im sure most of us would agree... its a simple mistake to make especially when in the middle of a house move!

Good Luck!
