My garden is infested with spiders and I am petrified please HELP!

My garden appears to have a colony of MASSIVE spiders and I am really scared of them, they are v.scuttely and leggy urgh. Its got to the stage where I can't actually sit outside now because there are so many I was outside for 10 minutes today and saw 8 crossing my patio.

I know its the outside and I should be grateful they are not in the house but I am cracking up being stuck inside. Is there anything I can put down to stop them running round the bit of the garden I sit in?

I'm sure the GP can give you a prescription for that.

How about one of those flamethrowing weed-killer things? You need to make an example of one of the little arachnoids (just make sure the rest of them are watching).

OMG sounds awful.... im TERRIFIED of them as well

in the eveings these HUGE ones are often seen walking along the pavement outside my house, and in the road etc

WHY do spiders even exist?....

im so sorry i cant advise what to do.... but you are not the only one who feels the same!!!

PS if anyone knows a solution i will be the 1st to try it out as well!

Spiders are good in a garden. Read about spiders , and develop an interest in them. You could try to identify the different types.

i suppose you could surround yourself with double sided tape and watch them get stuck to it when they cross, but it's a bit cruel
