O M G, I AM FREAKED OUT

I have just gone into my kitchen to find my blinds in the window have been bent and pulled up on the one side, and ds money box half hanging out the window, the thieving bastards, luckily it is too big to fit through the window, Yes ok ok The window should'nt have been open, and I should'nt have a money box in the window sill, freakier still my back door was unlocked, I have just checked the house from top to bottom while clutching a butchers knife.

They cant do anything, nothing was taken, and it was my fault really for having it on show.

call the police anyway, they may be able to come out and reassure you.
a while ago my mum thought she heard burglars at her house and she called the police and they did come out and check it, just because they knew she was alone and scared.

The police will be happy to come out to you, I was burgeled a few years back and was a nervous wreck for weeks and the local police were fantstaic at coming out to calm my nerves.

No I live in Malvern, though the coppers round here must be bored, today they sent out 11 police cars, 2 riot vans, and 2 police helicopters, to hunt down a mugger of an old lady. I kid you not.

I dont think they are going around other houses, I think they just saw an oppotunity in mine, if they were that brave they would have come in through the door and took it, as they would have seen my handbag on the worktop too.

I live next to an alley, and you can reach in through my kitchen window without coming into the garden.

Personally I think you would be doing your neighbourhood a favour by calling and reporting it! What if an old lady was in bed and had left her window open and some bugger broke in and stole all her worldly possessions?

When we were burgled ,our two other neighbours were done aswell,this was as we slept.

They said they have to come out and take a statment from me, and dust the money box for finger prints I only called so they could send a patrol car arounf the area, they said it is classed as burgelry, and criminal damage because my blind is a bit bent

Can you tell I have never had any dealings with the law before
