What Games Did You Play In the School Playground As A Child?

I have fond memories of playing Elastics, skipping , granny a game that you played with a tennis ball. Another thing was putting a tennis ball in an old pair of tights and swinging it across your body and over the top of your head and inbetween your legs. I bet half of them would be banned these days by health & safety

I remember that one with the tennis ball in a tight leg!
The quality of the wall was important though. Clackers, briefly, till they were banned cos people kept breaking their wrists

southeastastra · 13/07/2006 13:16

QueenEagle · 13/07/2006 13:17

British Bulldog was excellent at my school. I was the champ.

Football - if the boys didn't let me join in then I would nick their ball so they couldn't play it.

What's the one with a length of elastic round 2 peoples' feet and a 3rd does a set of jumps over it? Loved that one too.
