Do you get dressed after you've put body lotion on?

Just tried some Nivea "Rich Care" moisturiser and I am sitting here in a towel oozing - if I get dressed it'll go everywhere!

I've never put body lotion on...

mn making me feel inadequate again

E45 sinks in very quickly and you can get dressed fairly soon after, that Nivea stuff is richer and takes ages to sink in I find.

Yes, I am finding exactly that, www

zippi, I only do it because I am dry and flaky, you obviously aren't!

what a fabulous picture you paint, lol

CarolinaMoose · 01/07/2006 14:45

erm, have you put on a bit much?

I would use something lighter/more easily absorbed.

Vaseline Intensive Care body lotion is v nice and absorbs well.

zippitippitoes - I don't put body lotion on either, but I noticed today how dry my skin is after getting a decent suntan. Looks like I'll have to start using something. I might avoidthe Nivea one though as I don't have time to sit and wait for it to dry!

Oooh yes, I have used that before, CM - also have some l'Oreal Nutrilift in a nifty pump dispenser which is OK - I was given the rich stuff for my birthday though and was feeling particularly scaly today (yum) so thought I'd give it a go.

I'll stock up on Intensive Care and E45 in future

ha ha janh! I also like E45 because it isn't perfumed and I want to smell of my perfume not my body lotion (unless I had Chanel no 5 body lotion, which I don't!)

more things to do when I grow up!
