Depends how much swearing. I swear but do hate it in front of kids. Hate everyday use of f*. What do people say when really angry?

If I thouhgt thye would restrain themselves a bit cos of kids, would go. If like my neighbours, use f* because aggressively horrible, wouldn't.

I'd go, you hear bad language just walking down the street. wouldn't they tone down the language with children around?

Well i'm having people round to watch the footie this afternoon and then having a BBQ. None of the people coming having kids so it's only ours that will be there. My dd is 3 but tends to block out swearing etc so it's not too bad but generally friends will try not to swear in front of her anyway and ds is only 7 months. I'd go and enjoy yourself!

I'd go, but if the swearing started I'd ask them to stop, but in a jokey fashion iyswim. Something like, "Oi, not in front of the children", but said half in jest.
And if they couldn't tone it down I'd make my excuses and leave.
Children will probably be a bit of an attraction for them and if they're any sort of friends I'm sure they could hold off on the effing and blinding for one evening.
