Pruni I am inspired every single day by the people who work so hard and have had to fight every inch of the way to ensure that the Welsh language is not lost under the dreary homogenous sea of MTV,Coke,Macdonalds and Tesco.

Organisations such as Cymdeithas yr Iaith and
Cymuned both of which I am a member.

My language and identitiy and the people I see about me every day make me so proud and happy that it brings tears to my eyes.

Cymru am Byth!!

well, since you ask
my boyfriend, used the Hoopla at the Disneyland premiere of his latest movie to fulfill a personal obligation and spend hours with 5 families from the Make a Wish Foundation for ill children. He kept the press and Mickey Mouse waiting for 2 hours but did the right thing.

Even more reason to love him.

Not quite what you're looking for but all I can manage at the moment.

an old friend of mine is helping disadvantaged kids in shanty towns in south africa learn a musical instrument. she feeds them, gives them lessons, they play in groups and earn money (and in the process self-respect, responsibility and understand that hard work reaps rewards). most of these kids have no adult attention - their parents are working very long hours or have died of aids - they often suffer abuse and just have no hope. she takes on the most difficult cases and turns them around. if i had 1/100 of her strength i'd be very very proud.
