Can anyone suggest a christening present for dd's grandparents to buy

MIL has asked what I'd like her to get dd for her Christening. Has anyone got any good ideas what I should ask for. I want to avoid awful silver trinkets, ducks, cups etc that just sit around and gather dust (and are just the sort of thing MIL would buy if left to her own devices).

Something in her birthstone for when shes older?

Things I really liked for christening presents were nice books, photo album, locket/bracelet, really nice teddy

I got a lovely photo frame with spaces for the first year of DS's life. NEWBORN, 5MONTHS, 8MONTHS and FIRST BIRTHDAY... I love it, you can see the changes in a few short months!
