of it for recorder?

Dd really likes recorder and Harry Potter. She's trying to play it by ear, bless her, but hasn't quite got it.

I s'pose she'd need something pretty simple as she hasn't been doing recorder very long.

TIA

The film score of the first three films (and the main recognisable "theme" was composed by John Williams, a well known film composer.

You can buy a piano solo version of Hedwig's Theme from Amazon. I've not seen the score but I imagine it is fairly hard for beginner recorder.

Thanks julie.

I'll have a look on Amazon. Didn't even know they sold sheet music.

can't find it specifically for recorder - funny as I think it's a recorder that plays the theme quite often in the music rather than the flute - but flute would probably do, an easy version wouldn't go to high and so fit on the recorder. Is it descant she plays jil?

you can get the music here anyhow (with CD accompaniement and also with piano)

or if you like I could write out the main tune from the theme very simply by ear and send it to you?

That's really kind of you, MrsJohnCusack.
I may take you up on it if I have no luck.
