(For those who don't know, the Mod is a Gaelic Music competition - this was our local Mod)
Dd1 got first prize for poetry speaking (in Gaelic) - she was the only competitor but the adjudicator was very complimentary of how well she had done and said she deserved it
Dd1 and 2 then competed in the Group Music (instrumental) and Group Folk Music (singing and accompaniment) as part of their school group - and came first in both of those.
Other kids in their school came first in Fiddle playing and poetry speaking (a different age group to dd1). So proud of them all - they worked so hard!
