In Lloyds chemist this morning, they had buy one get one free offer on childrens nivea sun spray, there was no price, but I picked them up anyway figuring they would be about £8-£9, they are fairly small bottles 200ml........................got to the counter.......................................................................................£14.99 each

Is it me, or is that way to pricey? is it because they are spray bottles as I normally buy the rub in stuff.

I really dislike LLoyds chemsit. They are so nanny state - only selling sun stuff over a certain factor (and I don't think my local one sells dummies). Sorry, thread hijack, but yes way to pricey and they have been advertising that bogof offer haven't they???

LIZS · 21/06/2006 11:56

outlandish [shock} ! Superdrug and Boots have them for around £10/11 on bogoff and Asda seem to be advertising at £5.98 per bottle or an offer of 2 for £8 on Ambre Solaire

CountessDracula · 21/06/2006 11:57

No way that is total rip off

£11.99 on bogof in Boots but I am sure I got them cheaper in superdrug

Nivea is normally about £11-12 but is half price in Tesco at the moment.

Your arse is on BOGOF?

NotActuallyAMum · 21/06/2006 11:58

Looking at the size of my arse I think I did get another one free

Seriously, this is an absolute rip-off. The last time I bought Nivea sun spray - albeit about 2.5 years ago - it was about £4.50 a bottle in Asda
