what was the first car you drove

I drove boyfriend alphasud. first car I owend was a mini. now I drive a renault master

first car i drove was the one i learnt in, a nissan micra.

i have owned, in order :

mini clubman
chevette (with a vinyl roof no less )
ford fiesta
another ford fiesta
renault clio

1st was mum and dad's Vauxhall Frontera - a big beast of a thing! Other than that I have driven an MG ZS, a rover something or other, a subaru impreza and a ford mundano!

Vauxhall Viva (classic car) We called it the 'teabag' cos it had 1000 perforations (i.e. rust)

My dads Mazda RX7. And I scratched it and put it back in the garage. I told him recently - 15 years after the event. He laughed. Blinkin wouldn't have done at the time. I was only 14 and drove it to school!!!!!

We had an old banger rust bucket escort!
We have moved up since and now drive a peugeot 406 (our 4th car)

lovely lovely little black mini when I was 17 was car I owned. First car drove was a micra I think but was about 13 and abroad.

first car i drove was an l reg volkswagon polo, didnt learn to drive until i was 26.

a mini. Passed my eat with it. gave it up when i was pregant with DD1. Loved that car man.

Can't remember what I learned in - think it was a nissan.

First car I bought was a fiesta (in London so only wanted small nippy car)
Had a few new fiestas after that
Then had mondeo
Now have Grand Voyager

Maestro I went through 2 then a peurgot 106 , past 5 years nothing

GDG what is the voyager like. we looked at one (but too pricey for motability) looked lovely

My next-door neighbour was going to give me lessons in his cortina estate but I managed to knock the front bumper off first time out .

Then drove my mum's renault 5 (named Burt-Burt Renaults).
Had proper lessons in a Nissan Micra and then drove my own Renault 5 (Bill). He was the last car I named as it's somehow more upsetting when they go to the great scrapyard in the sky. After that it was an Austin Metro, followed by a peugeot 205 that has lasted me the last 11 years. Am now the proud owner of a Rover 214SLi. At the age of (almost) 40 I've got my first sunroof!
Have also driven my mum's various cars, she goes through them quicker than I do but I can remember a Vauxhall Chevette, Toyota Starlet, VW Golf, Citroen something and now a Renault 9.

Dacia 1300 (like a Renault 12).

when I first learnt to drive, I used to borrow my Dad's camper van (Ford transit) - not very cool for a 17 year old!

Learnt to drive in a little Fiat that my mum had, and in a Metro that my instructor had. First own car was a bright yellow 950cc Fiesta, decked out with zebra car seats and pink fluffy dice. Nice.

the first car was an Astra....my boyfriends car when i was 16 (he was older than me)

my first driving lesson was in a Micra, and my first actual car was Corsa...i know have a Zafira

i drove a 6 cylinder ford falcon, then a vw beetle, then a ford sierra then a daewoo matiz Now a ford falcon again.

also co-owned a v8 fairlane, renault clio

first car I drove in was my instuctors car peugeot a 206, then a peugeot partner combi, now I have a vauxhall Zafira

Learnt to drive in a Micra then bought a mini which I had for 10 years and reluctantly gave up when dd3 was on the way, Now drive a battered Nissan Sunny with an interior like a skip!

My first car was a green automatic maestro! it fell apart slowly!

Learnt to drive in a Micra then my first car was a brown Metro (still remember reg-A904MPR).Drove dad's Shogun too. After that-Fiesta,Uno,Carina,Sunny,Fourtrak (which I still have!) and now drive an Alhambra.
