Frizell undercut everyone else we tried by a HUGE margin.

SecondhandRose · 14/02/2004 09:14

Liverpool Victoria came out by far the cheapest for us.

SecondhandRose · 14/02/2004 09:15

Just realised they are part of Frizell too.

direct line v good - I use them for everything. Only company I've used who have a real person on the other end of the phone and not that awful voice mail

clairabelle · 14/02/2004 19:12

Abbey National v good, competitive and v helpful with claim for sudocrem on landing carpet

Blu · 16/02/2004 09:34

For my area (S london)I found the Pru to be the cheapest after phoning about 20. Also do a good combined one with contents,v good re claims.

I found Halifax to be the second cheapest for me, much cheaper than my other quotes. The cheapest was a company I'd never heard of and they sounded like they'd only give bare minimum cover whereas Halifax gave more than I needed for a good price.
