eww! Ive got light brown water coming out my cold tap.

What should i do? It looks discusting!

keep the tap running, there may be a broken pipe or may be residue from works done in the day

In some areas that just happens sometimes. If you fill a glass that stuff will probably sink to the bottom. It will run clear again soon I reckon.

meant to say keep the tap runing for a short while! not indefinatly!

Left a glass full of it.The whiteness cleared(believe thats air bubbles?)but left a pale brown water behind!
Tap is running quite fast as i type.
Good job i had a filter jug of water in the fridge to use.
