How old for a kids movie?

Hi there, friends have offered to take ds to a movie with their slightly older dd. I feel he is probably too young to last an entire movie, he is 20mths and there dd is almost 3.

When did you first take your dc to a movie?

It would depend on the movie TBH, how are they watching videos at home?

It could get akward if 20mth is playing up and you have to take him out then DD decides she wants mummy too I would just take the 3 yr old if it is her first time and go too, It can be a bit scary in the cimema as the sound is so different and of cousre the lights go down.

As for friends taking them, well I wouldn't for a first visit.

We took DS to chicken little at around 2.5 - he was brilliant and has been to several movies since then. I don't think he would have lasted at 20 months though tbh.
