Is any one on the contraceptive pill "Yasmin"

The doctor has taken me off Microgynin and changed me to Yasmin.

If you take it, what do you think of it?

What side affects have you had?

Yes, I'm on it. Been on it for about 2 years now. I really like it.

I had slightly sore boobs for the first couple of months & I get a bit more headachey around my period than I would do normally.
However, almost no PMT, really light periods, good skin, no weight gain - so very happy with it.

I was hoping it would work wonders for my skin which tends to be a bit crappy at times.

Microgynon has just given me 3 weeks of break through bleeding which im hoping wont happen with Yasmin!

I was put on it as I was overweight and it was marketed as a pill that wouldn't make you gain weight.

However I conceived DS while taking it and hadn't missed any, no illness/diarrhoea, no other medication and was taking em same time every day.

Just thought I'd warn ya!

I was really moody for 3mths til my body got used to it -then it was grand btw....
