... how you hardly ever speak to any men! Apart from dh, that is, but I don't speak to him that much either.

Just you wait, soon you'll be on first name terms with your postie (you'll be the only one who's home so they'll leave the entire neighbourhoods parcels with you).

The Man who comes round trying to get you to change your phone/gas/electric supplier....
The cute bloke who comes round and tries to convert you to the new christian chruch thingy....

You will get to speak with men, just not on a very regular basis....

I know what you mean. I used to work in an office full of men, and was a hockey manager for a mens team (which DH captain or coached).

I really really miss the banter that you get with men. Not smutty stuff (lucky with the type of men I know) just general banter.

I have found that women just don't do it. They bitch (which is also fun at times), but no one to banter with.

I do keep in contact with a few hockey men via email, but even that isn't quite the same.

I used to get sooo much stick for supporting Man Utd, never thought I would miss it...

I have never had so many women friends (or aquatancies) before and am definately missing the blokes...

My DH isn't very blokey either, so no banter at home with him.
