Yesterday in Asda I was sympathising with a mum whose 2 year old kept running away (it's normally my dd)- depsite several warnings she kept doing it so she was put in the trolley. Obvioulsy she wasn't happy at this and started screaming (not really loudly but loud enough)and the mum was a bit stressed as she had a baby and an older child with her too. I walked away and another woman bumped into me then apologised, saying 'I'm sorry, I can't concentrate for the screaming. (at this point I thought she was joking and laughed) then continued 'they're being really cruel, it's not fair and they should take her outside'
I was pretty shocked at this but maybe I'm just a bit sensitive because my dd runs away too and then strops in the trolley!
(BTW, said child stopped screaming VERY soon afterwards)
Wish I could have thought of something to reply to her with...
With 3 kids is she meant to leave the shop every time one of them makes a noise? Sorry, this has turned into a bit of a rant
