I had a letter come today from Homestart (they used to visit me) telling me about a scheme to get parents back in to work. Basically, M&S are offering 3 days training followed by 2 weeks work experiance at the store in Sutton Coldfield. There is no salary and no promise of a job but the experience can be included on a c.v (sopmething which i don't have as i've nothing to put on one). To be eligable you just have to have school aged or younger kids and wish to go back to work. There are only 6 places available so what do you think ??????
Oh meant to say that childcare would be offered (at a reduced rate, i assume), and it's in school hours.

Yes nutty do it
I have no experience of working for M&S but to get you out of the flat and meetong new people and build up self esteem do it. Kids do your head in all day everyday, I wish I could have some time off to be a grown up and you all know how besotted I am with my boys, so I would say take the opportunity and enjoy it.
