I am going to be an auntie today :)

BIL and SIL have just gone into the hospital. SIL is booked in for a c section this morning as baby is breach and it was decided this was the best option for them. She had to be there for 8:30am but not sure when the op will be.

It will be the first time I am an auntie :) and DD is very excited about a baby cousin.

It's a long time when you are sat waiting! Still no news.

Now I know how it felt for everyone when I went in for my induction. And they had 2 days to wait!

Hope you are an Auntie soon, Hula! (btw I have had two sections - 1st in at 7am and section not done until 3.30pm (my dad was chomping at the bit and phoning the hospital every 2 mins - LOL!), second time I was in at 8am and done and dusted by 10.30am!)

Ahh how lovely Hula. I was in this same situation in October my BIL & his gf we in the hospital waiting for their CSection on baby number 3, is such a long wait isn't it.

I think 11am is a popular time for c-sections - mine was at 11.15am.

Scheduled c-sections have to wait for emergencies to be done - I think there were two waiting when I had mine done.

Congratulations. It's great when you become an auntie for the first time. My brother and his g/f had a little girl a while back, my first neice! I was so excited
