What is the easiest hassle free way to sell a car?

I am finally planning to be car-free in London and need to sell mine. It is not an old banger, but is not a gorgeous sports car either. What is the best way to sell it that will cause me the least possible hassle and stress without getting ripped off?

Thanks!

I'm trying to sell mine too - was thinking of using exchangeandmart - £5 for an internet only ad, and a bit more if you want one in the magazine itself.
(hadn't thought of autotrader though - good idea bluesky)

We have sold one n ebay and currently selling the second the same way as need to raise cash fast. Was really quick and easy so would recommend that

there are quite a few car auctions about ( the one i know is in wandsworth, just over the bridge) where they take a small amount of what the car sells for..its not a percentage its a structured price list where fi it sells between x-y you pay xx. iyswim.

Hmmm...have put my ad on exchange and mart website - and have been inundated with dodgy emails - obviously trying to attempt money laundering/fraud. :(
Watch out Ilana - I have complained to e and m, but I guess there isn't much they can do to stop non-automatic messages getting through.
