Thats about it really!!
My youngest dd is 8months, and my ds is 2. So we have got loads of moses basket blankets and sheets.
Do hospitals take these in?
also got loads of newborn sleepsuits etc.
Thanks

I'm sure they would.

My dd had to be dressed in clothes other than what I had taken in when she was born because everything I had got was too big.
Ithink they'd be very appreciative of them. You could also try the Midwives and HV's. I gave a load of things to them and if there is a charity shop in the hospital.

I gave lots of tiny sleepsuits to the SCBU at my local hospital - they were very appreciative.

You will probably find that the newborn sleepsuits will be too big though! When my DD was in special care they had loads of clothes there for you to use, but they were all quite little. Agree with yellowfeathers - try the Health Visitor as we also had a pack from them once we got home (larger sizes but still really appreciated as we had no time to shop and weren't prepared etc).

I've just been and donated loads of clothes and baby stuff to our Health Centre. Apparently the HV's distribute it round any needy families quite regularly. Feel much happier with this than with giving to a charity that might just pulp it all. :)

Well, even full-term babies can end up in SCBU - that's what happened to DS1 - which is why they do appreciate newborn sleepsuits.

Am sure your SCBU would appreciate anything you can donate - When DS was in he was on blankets in his incubator and he looked so comfy but they needed changing regularly. Give them a call and ask them.....
