How can I get my new wood floor shiny/clean

Hi,
Ive just had real wood flooring laid. It looks nice until the sun shines on it and then you can see lots of matrks and its a dull matt appearence. I know the one we bought was shiny.

How do I clean it and also how can I buff a shine on it.

There is a wood floor cleaner/polisher liquid you can get in the supermarket - made by Johnsons I think. Can't remember what it's called though.

not for polishing..but 'manhatten mops' are the best buy ever for cleaning wooden floors..
not sure who makes them..
