Does anyone live around Woking/West Byfleet?

We have just moved here and I was wondering if anyone else lives around here? I want to find out about toddler groups and so on so I can get to know some people!

Yes,its run by local Italians-there are alot of them in Woking so any Italian cafe,restaurant,eaterie is the real thing and yummy

I actually lived in Horsell( a tiny village which is spitting distance from Woking)

oh we looked at houses in Horsell!

Sorry i dont know the name of the street-its near the station where all the food places,pubs are-it was opposite Macdonalds but hopefully Macdonalds has closed down -i wish

think I know where it is.. if it is opposite McDees though there will be trouble. The adverts have worked big time on DS and he insists he loves McDonalds I tell him it is horrible and tastes disgusting but he isn't having it

Hi - I live near you! There's a good soft play in Byfleet called Cheeky Monkeys - open every weekday except Wednesdays.

Cece, I must drive past your house every evening. Pizzamore is on Chertsey Rd in Woking, Bell Amico is another good Italian cafe in West Byfleet and the people there are really friendly.

annh small world! where do you work?

today wasn't raining but dd playing up a bit so was late and missed all the mums and dads!

I work for the large theatre group based in the centre of Woking, confusingly not for the actual theatre in town but the head officey bit dealing with London venues and nationwide. Still trying to work out which school your dd goes to - unless it is newish, in Woking rather than West Byfleet and involves a trip across town in the morning?!

Moving to Pyrford / Woking next week, I have a 4.5 year old son and would love to meet new families in the area.

We have just arrived here from Canada and have spent the last few weeks touring London, such an amazing city!

Old thread I know, but i'm new to the woking/west byfleet area, I have an almost-2yr old and I live just off woodham lane near the 6 lanes roundabout. I am a professional mum looking to meet up with other similar mums, I am steadily trying to go back to work, but my dd isn't coping with nursery, so I will be part time for a bit longer!!
