I did this on another forum and it may have been done here before but aaaanyways...

My favourites were:

Plastic Boot (with real laces, people and a slide)
Girls's World (not my own I am sad to say)
Buckaroo
Kerplunk

OP posts:

KerPlunk is still sticks through holes but the top comes off the hole part so you can guide the ends of the sticks through the other side. The sticks are bendier too I think. And it has a spiral tube for the marbles to come down. And it doesn't turn round so the outlet goes into your numbered tray. :(

I used to collect \link{http://www.doyouremember.co.uk/memory.asp?memID=53\thse} cards!!

Northerner · 20/05/2006 20:29

Angeliz how old are you? I collected those too. I seem to remember they were banned from school as they had such vulgar names.

Angeliz · 20/05/2006 20:30

I'm 32.
I still have them somewhereGrin

popsycal · 20/05/2006 20:33

Angeliz · 20/05/2006 20:38

It's quite funny now reading that i just said to DP, 'i bet i wouldn't like dd having themGrin'

(Maybe it was a Northern thing?)

Northerner · 20/05/2006 21:04

No, I wouldn't like my ds collecting them either.

You guys are a bit older than me, I'm nearly 30.

We also played elastics on our feet and cat's cradle. Hula hoops were popular, and do you remember roller skater that you wore over yor shoes?! Mine were metal with red bits that tied over your shoes. You could adjust the size so one size fits all!

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 20/05/2006 21:04

We used to collect POGS

CatBert · 20/05/2006 21:32

From various stages of childhood:
Sindy ballerina and the sindy horse, treetop house, computer battleship (beoooooooooow cshhhhhhhhh!!!); also loved girlsworld, Tiny Tears (I can actually remember being distraught and cuddling her and saying "I love you tiny tears" after my sister had drawn on her with ballpoint pen!!! Grin); had tonnes of "baby williams" each with their own little matchbox "bed" and used to collect whimsies - oh but my goodness it's taking me back...

Oh and fuzzy felt...

sarahhal · 20/05/2006 21:37

Did you have a cool Sindy horse with a "real" mane and tail or the plastic moulded one like mine!

CatBert · 20/05/2006 22:08

Oh definately real mane and tail - it's what made it sooooo exceptionally wanted, nay NEEDED by my former child-self... I coveted one so much (before the christmas where I could ask FC for one!!!) I can remember asking another child in church if I could swap my (whatever it was, dolly of some kind) with HER sindy horse... Would have gotton away with it too if it wasn't for my meddling mum (ahh - but that brings us onto teevee nostalgia and I guess that's a different thread)

FrayedKnot · 20/05/2006 22:08

Mine was the plastic maned one too, sarahal Sad

He lived under my bed with real hay from the guinea pigs' supply.

WelshBoris · 20/05/2006 22:09

you can tell we're the same age Tamba, I had that doll and I collected pogs!

JackieNo · 20/05/2006 22:13

Pippa here - my sister and I had several, and used to play a very elaborate game called 'Pippa's travels' which involved her escaping from her wicked stepmother. Had the pink wardrobe bag to keep them in and everything.
Also had a Girl's world, and a Tressy (like a Sindy, but with hair that grew).
TrollsBlush.
