I've been to Cardiff, seen a cup final and watched us lose and it's shit. Nothing will make him feel better other than the passage of time.

my dp is in a gross mood because his Mum is coming tomorrow - he cheered up for about half an hour when liverpool won so thank you west ham ....
Lived in liverpool when they lost to chelsea some years back - I lived directly opposite a pub that had lock ins.....I NEVER repeat NEVER want to spend another whole night listning to You'll never walk alone over and over and over and over.........................

It was a great match. Sadly if you support either side you don't want a great match you want to go 4 0 up in the first 10 minutes and then coast safely through the other 80... WHU normally like to make things stressful for their fans Sad. DH is gutted - so was I surprisingly.

But they played really well and at least they are safely up in the premiership - everyone said they'd be staight back down again end of this season. Well that's what I said to my DH anyway.

PS Don't say 'it's just a game' unless you want him to move out.... 20 yrs of living with a hammers fan has taught me that is just isn't funny...apparently.
