Am stressed!!!

DS1 is hot and sweaty and moaning about going to bed, he keeps getting up and whining and crying and clinging to me, doing my bloody head in.

He keeps refusing to go to bed and everytime iput him back he tries to wake his brother up.

Have a head ache, am stressed and you know that feeling you get when you know you are about to lose it??

Tambs - know how you feel. My dd is fractious at the moment & can't seem to switch off & go to sleep - she overtired & hot. I think we need a good thunder storm to break the humidity. Rain is forecast. Where are you? Is it the weather that is getting to your ds?

Hes lying screaming on the landing atm. Which is good cause I cant see him... am waiting for the frustrating shouting mood to pass

I understand the feeling. Does he usually calm down when he's like this? Hope he quietens soon so you can both get some rest.

Reading your post made me smile, I was on the brink of tears before I read it. DD was refusing to go to bed. I'm hot, I'm tired and I just want to sit down with a cold drink and watch Tiny Terraways fgs.

She is currently screaming at top of her voice, "I WANT MY DADDY!". Would love to tell her that Darling Daddy is not here as he's buggered off to the pub.

Mantra of the moment is ,"do not scream, do not smack, do not scream, do not smack, do not..........."

i totally understand, we play musical beds/pushchairs at night and it just about does my head in.

I have to calm down and just be an automaton for a while until it is over, or i would just burst.

I suppise the thunder had high pressure assoc with it that you all felt and once it passes everyone will feel a bit calmer.
