I dont want to know the actual specifics of threads, but what exactly is G.F's problem? Is it that there have been threads "slagging her off", or that her name appears linked with mumsnet when "googled"?
Just so I am not scratching my head and wondering what has gone on!
(and can mentions of GF be banned on mumsnet, what happened to free speech?)

She doesn't like us cos we're always _

you fill in the blanks yourself

snafu · 12/05/2006 07:18

She thinks we are potty-mouthed harlots and she no longer wishes to associate with us in case our vile depravity taints her book sales - sorry! - I mean good name.

OK

Some threads on MN about GF get very personal
GF's lawyers contact MN to get them to pull posts and 'warn' them (about what precisely we do not know)
MN starts thread asking us not to be personal about GF
Mahoosive discussion, more personal comments
Thread pulled
And again (possibly, my memory might be playing tricks there)
GF's lawyers do not let it lie
Whole thing blows over briefly
Quite out of the blue, some new posters decide at regular intervals to as questions about GF/CLBB
And so it continues
And now GF is launching a book which no doubt will be read avidly by a few people on here to assess it for similarity to MN
And GF's website person posted last night about all this.
So there is a lot of publicity being drummed up - by us - free publicity

And that's it.

of VaGina Ford, that's another one that has been used, but as you can see it is willfully peurile and childish, isn't it?

tigermoth · 12/05/2006 07:28

I see things have moved on a bit - didn't know about website person.

some people have an intolerance to Gluten and want to remove it from their diet completely

when they remove Gluten they begin to feel better and their natural rhythms start to reassess giving them an allround feeling of health and happiness

when they have done they are then Gluten free, sometimes they post on mumsnet and other sites looking for support and further information (like recipes of course)

HTH
