Talk to me about Brooke and Loddon in Norfolk

Are looking at properties in both places this week and would like to hear from people who live or have lived there. How family friendly are they and how easy is it to commute into Norwich? What about the local schools? Any advice will be much appreciated!

Are you still around? I lived in Brooke for 7 months & DH lived there for years.

Brooke is lovely & very easy to commute to Norwich. School is great. I can even recommend a childminder in the village.

Can't comment much on Loddon, typical sleepy small Norfolk town. But it is that much further away from anywhere. Reasonable to live there & commute to Lowestoft.
