try [email protected]

honneybunny · 08/05/2006 20:14

what are you going to complain about zephyrcat?
we just mailed them about our last online shopping order, which we were not home for to receive, as ds2 was taken ill whilst on holiday, and wasn't allowed to fly back, and which they have charged for in full, despite the fact that we called to cancel (OK on the day, but well before the delivery slot) and were told that all our stuff would be reshelved and resold.
we used [email protected]

What a coincidence. Was looking for one last night having found blue plastic in a packet of their organic mince meat. Wasted a dinner as I had to chuck it out. I dare say I'll get a half backed apology and be expected to drive their with some 2 day old semi-raw meat to get my money back.

There's a link to email them through their website.

But don't hold your breath.

Each time I've had cause to complain, 3 or 4 times I think, it's taken up to 6 weeks for them to reply - unsatisfactorily. Heaven forbid they should actually directly address the original query, let alone apologise for the crap "customer service" thereafter.

By contrast, Boots reply within a few days and are always concilliatory (sp?) IMO .... just shows it can be done, but Tesco realise that depending on where you live they have many people over a barrel (if I didn't use them, I'd have to drive 12 miles for my next nearest supermarket, discounting small local Sommerfield).

It's only trivial complaints really that have been bugging me but because I had a crap day I'm taking it out on all the crap companies!!
My tesco complaints are the stupid crappy baby seats they have put in their trollies at our store. They used to have the laid back blue squashy ones which were perfect for babies - they've replaced them with hard plastic sitting up seats so when I put dd2 in them (she's 5 weeks) she slides down and screams all the way round the shop Angry Then there's the fact that every time we go there they have parked the trolley cart things in the parent spaces Angry and then the fact that we spend a fortune in their stores yet when we use the petrol staition shop they never give us our computers for schools vouchers Angry!!

The Boots one is that I bought some MAM newborn bottles just before dd2 was born, got them home and there was crusty milk and watermarks on them where they had obviously been used, returned and then put back on the shelf! Shock Angry

MAM because their ultivent bottles are crap!!

phone them on that number. the operators are lovely - Scottish - and have always been really helpful to me!

honneybunny · 09/05/2006 12:44

Actually.... we did just get excellent customer care from Tesco.
This morning we received a full refund for our shopping. Blush This was probably after my phone call to them cancelling our order (and complaining to the man on the phone that I thought it was a bit strange that they would reshelve our stuff but still charge us full amount), and not in reaction to our email that we sent yesterday.
