How would you feel if your child was invited to a birthday sleepover party?

DD1 will be 7 in June and has decided that she would like to invite some of her school friends over for a sleepover party. We have told her that she can invite a maximum of five people.
I know three of the children very well and they have been to our house for tea a few times. The other two children, and their parents, I don't know very well at all.
I am happy for them to come and stay but I'm just wondering if the parents are going to be happy about it not knowing me.
What do you think?

Personally I would not permit a sleepover unless I knew the parents pretty well.

all i know is you're brave to have 6 7 yr olds all night!!! lol

I think i'd have stuck with the 3 she knows! invite them all... if the parents aren't happy then they'll just make their excusees

If I didn't know you or had a chance to meet you then I would be concerned allowing my dd to sleep over...How about speaking to/seeing the mums involved prior to the sleepover..? Juts to let them know you are actually aware of the sleepover and that you will be there to control things etc..

They probably know my face from the school playground but that's about it.
