Are there any soft play places nearby or other kid friendly places, e.g. farms / activity centres?

TIA

Welwyn is a lovely village and definitely less intimidating than Harpenden and St.Albans (Bugaboo city).
How old are your LO's?

misdee · 08/05/2006 18:40

are you moving to welwyn or welwyn garden city? both fab IMO lol.

Pennies · 09/05/2006 09:24

Looks like we're moving to Tewin, so can see us splitting kiddy entertainment around the whole Welwyn / WGC / Harpenden / St Albans area really. Had our offer on a house accepted yesterday. It's still early days though but even if this falls through I reckon we're going to keep looking in the Tewin area because we think it's great.

My LO's are 20 months and 5 months. Boths DD's.

Adding "The Big Space" in Harpenden and "Castaway Kids" in St Albans. Leighton Buzzard has a narrow-gauge railway which is doing a Teddy Bear's Picnic this w.e. Could be fun! Willows Farm Village is fun, but expensive. Make a full day of it so you feel you get your money's worth.

What does "Bugaboo City" mean?

WishICouldGiveUpWork · 11/05/2006 14:11

It's just what I call St.Albans as you just cannot seem to move for bloomin' Bugaboos..Smile

LOL! :o
