If I stop having ntl internet, what happens to my ntl email address?

I was with ntl internet for a few years but I've moved house to an area that doesn't have ntl.
Just wondering about my email address. I can't access it today and wondering if I'll not be able to access it again because I'm not an ntl customer?
If that's the case, is there any way I can set up another account and have any messages sent to my ntl address forwarded, or is the address lost forever, and and I won't ever receive any message that are sent to that address?

think it's gone

I think you can transfer it, as that what we did.
We still have the old email address that we had before we moved areas, so assume it transferred somehow (you may have to pay though)
DH sorted it out which is why I'm not 100% sure

Thank you for the replies [snile]
Whizz, did you change internet providers when you moved house?

OOps sorry - completely wrong info Blush
We had NTL but when we moved we lost it and we lost the email addys that went with it.

Sorry for the duff info - DH sets all these things up & I never keep up with what he sets up (I sound like a useless techno-phobe don't I !)
