Anyone got a good idea for a present for a 2 year old girl's birthday party?

I don't know her really but she seems lovely, it's my dd's first party invitation from nursery so don't have anything to compare it to. Suggestions welcomed! (Maybe £5-6 range?). Thanks!

Play dough? Craft set from ELC? Paints? Nice picture book?

Jigsaw puzzles make great presents at this age.
I also quite like giving pavement chalks - great fun to make a huge mess with, and then the next rainfall cleans the lot.

I was also going to suggest Play dough. Or colouring books & crayons, story books, small Happyland set, jigsaw?

Picture books might be not that bad choice if she loves stories painted with various colors.
