70th birthday present ideas for an aunt who has everything

any ideas for a 70th birthday present for my aunt? she has all she could wish for really (apart from grandchildren and I can't supply those!)

she lives abroad, so I don't have access to her house, photo albums etc, so can't make over her garden or anything along those lines. the present also has to fit on a plane so can't be gigantic.

What about some stuff connected to 1936 the year she was born?
eg Gone with the wind was published, Roy Orbison was born, etc.

You could make up a gift box of things which are 70 - so a copy of a book, a cd by someone born that year, a dvd of a film out in 1936, some sweets from the 30's etc

Could be fun finding stuff, and will show some thought?

Try Wikipedia for info on 1936.

I gave my granny a gorgeous wooden wind chime for her 80th birthday so that everytime she heard it she could think of us.

a magazine subscription? can you organise that on the net for abroad?

i will be looking with interest as i have problems getting my nan something.

this year my nan is getting the desiderata in a nice frame. and probably something else small and inexpensive like a crosswork book or something.
