LOL. Reminds me of the packaging that says "serving suggestion" and they have put it on a plate (perhaps with a sprig of parsley).

Not a family saying but dh got a torch from panasonic (where he works for his birthday). It said "to be used in the dark for brightness" Durrrr!

bundle · 03/05/2006 18:06

does cod know about this?

marthamoo · 03/05/2006 18:10

I was perusing the label on a bottle of Tesco own brand lemonade the other day. It listed the ingredients...and that it was made in a factory which doesn't process nuts in any of its products...and then said...

Cannot Guarantee Nut Free

Well why the hell not?

GeorginaA · 03/05/2006 18:13

I still like the Tesco handwash for toddlers (the one that is supposed to encourage them to wash their hands all by themselves) that says in big letters on the back "keep out of reach of children". Grin

loganberrys · 04/05/2006 13:42

Lol at all these.can I just tell you about my funny label one.I had run out of sleeping tablets when I was stressed and on them for a little while so I popped to the chemist as it was the weekend to see what they could give me.The pharmacist gave me nightol tablets after I asked him what the strongest ones were.I wasn't convinced.I got home and read the back of it and it said 'Warning, may cause drowsiness'

JudgeMental · 04/05/2006 14:02

What about the bag of nuts which say ' may contain nuts'...you don't say...

snowleopard · 04/05/2006 14:10

I like the ones where the product picture is literally all over the packet - like wall-to-wall baked beans - and it says "serving suggestion" :o

yeahinaminute · 04/05/2006 15:08

Bought a li-lo in Greece last summer and on the back after telling us it must be inflated ( Cheers for that!) must not be used near water

eefs · 04/05/2006 15:11

on the back of DS1's medicine "warning, may cause drowsiness, do not drive or operate machinery" it was the junior version of the medicine, suitable up to the age of 5!

babyonboard · 04/05/2006 15:14

lol..
