I am a new mum who works in central London and DH works in SW London. I have fantastic childcare where we live (SE London), a lovely 3 bed victorian house with original features, walking distance from my parents and sister, lovely doctors, dentist, every amenity you can think of on our door step, near to three train stations and loads of bus routes, but CRAP SCHOOLS!!!!!
now education is so important to us and we want to give our LO a good start so we are thinking of moving to away from all of this to West Wickham (good chooling and nice family housing in our price range).
Any tips, hints, recommended agents/websites or anything else that would be helpful to us to find a house in West Wickham. We need to be within walking distance to trains, shops, buses, primary school (even though our dd is only 9 months now
), and still under our 310K budget?
any parts to avoid?
this is a long shot but you just never know with MNetters......anyone know the best way to start looking for childcare for an under 2 in this area? (I am soo scared of what the future may bring with this move, I just want to make as informed a decision as possible, because I will be giving up a lot)
any help is appreciated...thanks
