You might find she's OK when you've gone. This has happened before with my dd and she's ended up loving the party.

Pinotmum · 29/04/2006 13:17

Could you pay for your other 2 dd's to stay? I am sure once she sees her friends she will be fine Smile

Polgara2 · 29/04/2006 13:17

Could you not all stay as it is a play area? I can't leave mine either but always take the other one with me and they just play with everyone else (obviously they don't participate in the food bit).

misdee · 29/04/2006 13:20

tbh, i am not up for soft play myself, not on a saturday afternoon. I am hoping she will be fine once we get there. its a 3pm, so have plenty of time for her to settle down.

does she know any of the other parents who might be staying?

misdee · 29/04/2006 13:36

i dont know who is going. she seems calmer now. has just written in the card and helped wrapped a present.

Spidermama I'm sure the host Mum loves you! Leaving an upset child in the hope they are fine once you go Grin.

How did she do Misdee?

I know last week I left my 4yr old sobbing at a birthday party as she was afraid of being on her own.. I called from the carpark outside and the birthday boys mum said she was fine :)

MaryBS · 30/04/2006 07:57

Yes how did she get on?

Mine usually cry when I come to pick them up Blush

misdee · 30/04/2006 08:22

she was fine. host mum says she was a perfectly behaved and sweet.
