grrr. i get 2hours respite from peter when he comes home, once a week. the other hurs for carers and for school runs and help in the morning. we arent geting any help at the weekends either.

the 2hours extra on a weds are so i can go shopping. so my life wont be my own. all i want is 2hours on a monday morning to go swimming. cos dd1+2 will be at school/preschool, and i can pop dd3 into the creche.

19 hours doesn't sound like a lot out of 168, I don't have any answers for you I'm sorry.

misdee are you in touch with a carers organisation?

Most boroughs have them and they'll be able to help you ensure you're getting all the support you're entitled to and may also be able to find you voluntary type help.
