DS is 8 months old and we're taking him to a friends wedding in June. I have no idea what sort of thing he should wear - DEF not 'Sailor boy' outfit!!! I don't want to spend too much cash as he'll only wear it once! Any ideas anyone?

Try the vertbaudet catalogue - it isn't that expensive, my ds was 6 months when me and dh got married and we got him a gorgeous outfit (tank top and trousers) from vbt that was smart but practical and he wore it loads after. I didn't get the shirt from there though - half the price in asda!!!! Smile

A white shirt and linen trousers? Then he can wear both separately through the summer - or even a white t-shirt and linen trousers?

Next have got some lovely smart children's clothes

We went to a wedding when DS was about a year old and he wore a pale blue linen shirt and a pair of navy trousers. He looked very smart and got lots of wear out of them throughout the summer.

Yes,little shirt and trousers (although what else do boys wear??)
Little tank top sweet too.
Don't whatever you do,put him into a waistcoat and tie.
