Should we allow our children to television? Should pre-school children be allowed to watch television?

Yes.

I wouldn't recommend The Wire or Jeremy Kyle. And they might struggle to get a good grasp of the West Wing.

But the odd Octonauts and a little of Justin's House will not corrupt or destroy their brain cells.

Yes.

Yes, and have computers, consoles and tablets. Not 24 hours a day not at the expense of everything else and age appropriate.

As long as its suitable to their age group and understanding, yes.

I've always watched tv, dd and ds have always watched tv. We're all (I like to think) fairly intelligent and well rounded individuals.

I don't think a bit of tv ever harmed anyone in moderation.

Yes.

I did, and I managed to grow up into a sane well-balanced human being.

I also played in the garden though, and with friends. Like anything, a steady diet of TV is not healthy.

No, we should treat them like porcelin dolls and keep them away from all the drawbacks of the modern world. Coz that will really prepare them to live in it Hmm.
