Took ds1 to get some new trainers today and when we got back he was showing them off to ds2 who had stayed at home with dh.

"Look, db," says ds1 "they're Geox."

"Oooh," says ds2 - bear in mind he's only 4 - "they let your feet breathe but don't let water in" (gesticulating with hands to demonstrate the 'one way sole membrane').

OK, the weather's been pants and we've all been ill so have watched a lot of TV this Easter but !

ds (6) wants some Geox. He quoted this 'to the woman in clarks the other day

oh bless him. that would scare me though. I must remember to lock all non cbeebies channels on our telly.

I blame the new CITV channel - I was so euphoric to have a change from CBeebies we may have watched rather more than we ought...

Since 'LazyTown' started I've begun to look upon BC-LC as classic children's programming...

i like lazy town. and dd absolutely adores it. she wants to paint her hair pink.

ds does not even watch tv and insisted on having Geox trainers. They have some clever marketing going on there.

You like it? I watched it properly for the first time this morning and I just got more and more bemused...it's just so Odd.

odd, but weirdly preachy and harmless though. I like the colours.

Nah, I think it's the puppets. Puppets have always unnerved me. Like clowns. Creepy.

ds is terrified of lazy town, turns the tv off even. and this is the boy who happily watches dr who... i however am a marketing man's dream so must find some geox for him :o.

I fell for the Geox but they are nice.
